T.T.T., Ch. E.R. sponsored the Blood Center of Iowa's blood drive on Tuesday, Aug, 5. There were eight first time donors of the 70 that registered at Mercy Fitness Center.
Greeting the donors were Irene Arbogast and Marilyn Gorden. Mary Bennett set up the facility and Caroll and Gary VanDyne cleared the area. In the canteen were Greta Ogden, Rose Knight, Sally Donald, and Van Hearn. Doris LaPaglia and Irene Arbogast provided sandwiches.
The publicity committee consisted of Jeanie Pontious, Diane Zapitul, Marilyn Gorden, Rose Knight, and Larry Bettis. The Iowegian and KCOG/KMGO advertised the drive. Joy Davis transported donors to the site. The Calling Committee was Marilyn Perkins, Rose Cunningham, Virginia Hayes, and Pauline Golick.
The next drive will be Tuesday, Sept. 2, with the site to be announced later.
