Benefit to be held for Mario Macias
A benefit for Mario Macias will be held at Krazy Connie’s Landing on Saturday, July 11 beginning at 6 p.m.
Mario died April 13, 2009 from injuries sustained in a car accident north of Plano. At the time of his death he was working with Jim Rollman and cooked at the Landing, then known as Chuck’s Landing.
A meal of roast pork, catfish and crappie will be served at 6 p.m. and music by Ben Wantland will start at 7 p.m. Raffle drawings will start at 8 p.m. and you need not be present to win.
Raffle tickets may be purchased at Bridgeview, Krazy Connie’s Landing and Numa Station.
Proceeds will be used to buy Mario Macias a head stone.
