12:27 a.m. Robert Brady McGrann, 39, of Numa, was charged at Fifth and West State streets with OWI, first offense. He was later released on his own recognizance.
5:31 p.m. Schyler Lewis Morgan, 18, of Centerville, was driving a 1999 Dodge Durango west in the 16000 block of Highway 2 when a deer entered the roadway from the north and ran across the highway. The vehicle struck the deer with the right front fender. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.

6:05 p.m. John Thomas Holcomb, 42, of Winterset, was driving a 2008 Mercury Mountaineer north in the 17000 block of Highway 5 when a deer entered the roadway from the west and ran across the highway. The vehicle struck the deer. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
7:48 p.m. Laura Rae Proctor, 32, of Moravia, was charged at 102 W. Charles St. with simple assault.

6:42 a.m. Amanda Jo White, 20, of Moulton, was driving a 2002 GMC Envoy westbound on Highway 2 when it struck a deer. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
8:11 a.m. Andrea Elizabeth White, 19, of Centerville, was driving a 1995 Toyota and was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of 540th Street and Highway 2. Lauren Elizabeth Houf, 25, of Centerville, was driving a 2004 Mercury and was attempting to turn from Highway 5 onto 540th Street when she cut her vehicle too sharply and struck White’s vehicle. Damage to White’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500. Damage to Houf’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Houf was charged with failure to yield half of the roadway.
