Timothy Micheal Wood, 19, of Ottumwa, had his parole/probation revoked at the Law Center.

5:52 p.m. Patricia Jane Kruzich, 67, of Mystic, was driving a 2008 Toyota southbound on Highway J5T and struck a deer in the road. Damage to Kruzich’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

5:50 p.m.
David Lewis Cline, 36, of Smithville, Mo., was driving a 2006 Ford west in the 16000 block of Highway 2 and struck a deer in the road. Damage to Smith’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000.

Jan. 1

5:53 p.m.
Joseph Kosman Milani, 18, of Ottumwa, was driving a 2008 Kubo farm tractor pulling a 2011 H&S spreader eastbound on 458th Street. The shoulder of the road was soft and both the tractor and spreader wheels slid off the road causing the vehicle to enter the south ditch and roll. The vehicle was to rest on its wheels. The spreader was still upside down and appeared to still be connected to the tractor. The driver was not injured. The spreader was new and valued at $15,000. Damage to the vehicles was estimated at $25,000.

Jan. 3

3:30 p.m.
Kyle Edward Kimm, 19, of Laverne, Tenn., was charged at 117 N. 18th St. with failure to register as a sex offender. He later posted bond and was released.

Since Barack Obama was elected president, two significant things have occurred: The military repealed the "Dont' Ask, Don't Tell" policy allowing gays and lesbians to openly serve and just recently he publicly said he supports gay marriage.
