2:40 p.m. Carl Ludwig, of Ottumwa, was driving a 2000 Chevy southbound on South 18th when he was rear-ended while stopping to make a left hand turn by Andrea Kinzler, of Unionville, Mo, driving a 2003 Saturn, owned by Ron Kinzler. Damage was estimated at $3700 to the Ludwig vehicle and $5000 to the Kinzler vehicle.

12:39 a.m. Jason Binanual Seals, 35, of Centerville, was charged in the 700 block of South 18th with violation of a no contact order, domestic assault enhanced-d felony, first degree harassment, and interference with official acts.
9:20 p.m. Murphy Don Ballanger, 22, of Centerville, was charged in the 1400 block of Haynes with interference with official acts.
