Oct. 15

9:28 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 700 block of East Stewart. The victim reported that an apartment had been entered and fake blood had been sprayed on a mirror, TV, shelves, doors and blinds. Damage was estimated at $150.

Oct. 17

4:59 p.m. A motor vehicle theft was reported in the 800 block of Drake Avenue. The victim reported that a 1996 Dodge Caravan worth $2,500 had been stolen.

Oct. 18

12:31 a.m. Chad Lee Spurgeon, 20, of Centerville was charged at Seventh and State with .02 violation.

Oct. 19

3:17 p.m. A theft was reported in the 1100 block of North 18th. The victim reported that a lightning rod and other items valued at $300 had been stolen from a residence.

Oct. 21

An accident was reported at Drake Avenue and Maple Street. Bernadine Moore, of Oakes, N.D., was driving a 2003 Cadillac west when she ran a red light. Robert Wireman of Cincinnati, driving a 1998 Ford, struck Moore’s vehicle in the rear driver’s side quarter panel. Moore was charged with failure to obey a traffic control device.

1:53 a.m. Dennis Ray Hayes, 50, of Centerville was charged in the 1100 block of North 13th with serious enhanced domestic assault and violation of a no contact order. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Oct. 22

7:55 a.m. Erin Joann Garcia, 19, of Moravia was charged at the Law Center with simple domestic assault. She later posted bond and was released.

7:38 p.m. Sabrina Dawn Moore, 24, of Centerville was charged in the 500 block of North 18th with simple assault.

Oct. 24

7:35 a.m. A theft was reported in the 500 block of South 16th. The victim reported a CD player and one CD valued at $50 had been stolen from a vehicle.

10:31 a.m. A theft was reported in the 800 block of South Main. The victim reported $120 worth of CDs had been stolen from a vehicle.

10:33 a.m. A theft was reported in the 400 block of South 16th. The victim reported a CD player valued at $30 had been stolen from a vehicle.

5:08 p.m. A theft and criminal mischief were reported in the 800 block of South Park. The victim reported that a CD player and radio had been stolen from a vehicle and the dash had been damaged. Damage was estimated at $250.
