Nov. 5
3:50 p.m. An accident was reported on Highway J-5T. Christopher Todd Davolt, 40, of Centerville was driving a 1420 International Combine with a bean head attached westbound on Highway J-5T. Davolt attempted to move to the right of the roadway due to an oncoming vehicle approaching. The combine head struck the guardrail on the north side of the roadway, breaking the posts. The combine had minor damage. Damage to the guardrail and posts owned by the Army Corps of Engineers was estimated at $5,000.

Nov. 9
Corydon Police arrested Michael Joseph McVey, 19, of Corydon following an incident at a Corydon residence. McVey appeared before the magistrate the following day and was released on his own recognizance.
Nov. 10
Ottumwa Police arrested Terry Lee Eiler, 30, of Ottumwa on Wayne County warrants for fifth degree theft, fifth degree criminal mischief and trespassing. The charges were in connection with an incident at a Promise City residence in September. Eiler also had a warrant from the city of Allerton for failure to abate a nuisance. Eiler appeared before the magistrate the following day and was released on her own recognizance.
