Nov. 3

5:08 p.m. An accident was reported in the 20000 block of Highway J5T. Larry Gordon Sorensen, 62, of Cedar Falls was driving a 2008 Chevy on Highway J5T when a deer ran across the road. The driver struck the deer causing an estimated $1,000 in damage.

Nov. 8

4:47 a.m. An accident was reported on Highway J18. Patrick Michael Regenwether of Cincinnati was driving a 2005 Chevy eastbound on Highway J18 when he struck a deer causing an estimated $2,000 in damage to his vehicle.

Nov. 12

6:33 p.m. An accident was reported in the 21000 block of Highway J18. Darroll Daniel Geery, 60, of Promise City was driving a 2008 Chevy westbound on Highway J18 when a deer entered the roadway and was struck by Geery. There was an estimated $2,000 damage to Geery’s vehicle.

Nov. 13

8:40 p.m. An hit and run accident was reported on Clarkdale Road in Mystic. The owner of a 1998 Ford stated he was at a school event and parked his vehicle on Clarkdale Road, facing west, at around 5 p.m. When he returned to the vehicle at around 8:30 p.m. he discovered that an unknown vehicle had backed into the driver’s side door causing an estimated $1,200 in damage.

Nov. 15

12:16 p.m. An accident was reported on Highway 202. Michael James Young, 55, of Moulton was southbound on Highway 202 when a deer entered the roadway and struck his 2001 Jeep causing an estimated $3,500 in damage.
