CENTERVILLE — Jan. 11

2:37 p.m.
Attempted burglary was reported in the 400 block of North 12th Street. The victim reported $100 in damage to a door.

Jan. 15

5:39 a.m.
Robin Schmarje, of Centerville, was driving a 2005 Dodge southbound on Drake Avenue when the driver stated she fell asleep, crossed the roadway and struck the curb and a set of steps, eventually hitting a large utility pole. Damage to Schmarje’s vehicle was estimated at $3,500. Schmarje was charged with no insurance and failure to maintain control.

Jan. 21

12:36 a.m.
A 17-year-old male juvenile was charged in the 200 block of North 13th Street with possession of alcohol under age.

Jan. 23

2:32 p.m.
Shoplifting was reported in the 1100 block of North 18th Street. The victim reported that miscellaneous clothing, jewelry and personal items valued at $144.65 were stolen. Chira Conger was charged with fifth degree theft.

2:52 p.m. Shoplifting was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Street. The victim reported that clothing valued at $2.50 was stolen. Charges are pending.

Jan. 24

6:18 p.m.
Clarissa Thomas, of Centerville, was driving a 2005 Chevy northbound on South Main Street. Kayla Cockriel, of Centerville, was driving a 1992 Toyota northbound on South Main Street. Thomas’ vehicle slowed to turn left into a driveway and Cockriel’s vehicle failed to stop and struck Thomas’ vehicle. Damage to Thomas’ vehicle was estimated at $1,500. Damage to Cockriel’s vehicle was estimated at $200. Cockriel was charged with failure to maintain control.

Jan. 25

12:04 p.m.
Burglary was reported in the 600 block of West Van Buren Street. The victim reported that door trim and a door lock valued at $10 were damaged.

Jan. 26

10:41 a.m.
Burglary was reported in the 700 block of North First Street. The victim reported $600 in damage to doors. Nothing was stolen.

Jan. 27

2:49 p.m.
Travis Joseph Fry, 31, of Centerville, was charged in the 100 block of North 13th Street with possession of drug paraphernalia and assault with intent to inflict serious injury. He was later released on his own recognizance.

3:35 p.m. Clarissa Edwards, of Numa, was driving a 1996 Chevy eastbound on Merion Street. Clinton Walker, of Centerville, was driving a 1993 Ford northbound on 15th Street. Edwards’ vehicle failed to yield to Walker’s vehicle after stopping at a stop sign. Damage to Walker’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500. Damage to Edwards’ vehicle was estimated at $2,200. Edwards’ was charged with failure to obey stop sign.

4:47 p.m. John William O’Brien, 62, of Greenley, Colo. was charged in the 300 block of North 12th Street with public intoxication.

9:28 p.m. A 14-year-old male juvenile was charged at the Law Center with disorderly conduct.

9:32 p.m. A 16-year-old male juvenile was charged at the Law Center with disorderly conduct.

Jan. 28

8 p.m.
Cory Alan Koenig, 31, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with fifth degree theft. He was later released on order of the court.

Jan. 29

3:22 p.m.
Shoplifting was reported in the 700 block of East Van Buren Street. The victim reported that two candy suckers valued at $4.17 were taken. Charged are pending.

9:14 p.m. Randi Marie Strickler, 22, of Centerville, and Dustin Kenneth Saldana, 24, of Centerville, were each charged in the 100 block of South Main Street with simple domestic assault.

Jan. 30

7:01 a.m.
Criminal mischief was reported in the 800 block of Drake Avenue. The victim reported paint on a 1998 Chevy. Damage was estimated at $5.

9:48 p.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 200 block of East Van Buren Street. The victim reported a glass window broken out of a glass pane door. Damage was estimated at $300.

11:45 p.m. Dale Lee Waldroupe, Jr., 27, of Centerville, was charged in the 400 block of North Haynes Avenue with public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 31

6:02 p.m.
Scott Carter Wells, 41, of Centerville, was charged at North 18th Street and East Maple Street with OWI, first offense.

Feb. 1

11:20 a.m.
Theft was reported in the 800 block of South 15th Street. The victim reported a 26 inch men’s 21 speed bike valued at $80 was stolen.

3:09 p.m. James Joseph Gaffey, 25, of Exline, was charged at 18th Street and East Jackson Street with OWI, second offense. He was later released on his own recognizance.

7:50 p.m. Neil Anthony Katter, 46, of Centerville, was charged in the 100 block of West Van Buren Street with simple assault.

9:02 p.m. Kevin Wade Powers, 21, of Centerville, was charged in the 100 block of West Van Buren Street with disorderly conduct.

Feb. 2

2:35 a.m.
Devon Ray Schwering, 22, of Centerville, was charged in the 400 block of North 10th Street with OWI, first offense.
