5:13 p.m. An accident was reported in the 500 block of North 18th Street. Calvin Hogg was driving a 1997 Buick northbound on North 18th Street. Becky Clark, driving a 1991 Oldsmobile, failed to yield the right of way and entered onto North 18th Street striking Hogg’s vehicle in the rear passenger door. Each vehicle was estimated to have $1,500 in damage. Hogg was charged with having no insurance. Clark was charged with having no insurance and unsafe entry into a roadway.

12:28 a.m. Edward Shane Needels, Jr., 23, of Mystic, was charged at North 10th Street and West State Street with OWI, first offense and driving with a suspended license.
