Lawrence James Anderson, 53, of Corydon, was arrested on several drug related charges following the execution of a search warrant. The South Central Iowa Area Drug Task Force asssisted by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office served the warrant Oct. 31 at Anderson’s residence at 809 N. Johnson St. in Corydon. Anderson was charged with two counts of delivery of a schedule III controlled substance (hydrocodone) and one count each of possession with intent to deliver a schedule III controlled substance (hydrocodone) while in the immediate possession or control of a firearm, all class C felonies, failure to affix the appropriate stamp label or official indicia, a class D felony, possession of a schedule I controlled substance (marijuana), a serious misdemeanor and possession of a drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Anderson appeared before the magistrate the following day and is currently being held in the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bond.
