21st annual Community Christmas Day Dinner

CENTERVILLE — Drake Avenue Christian Church will once again host the annual Community Christmas Day Dinner with serving beginning at noon at the church, 303 Drake Ave. in Centerville. The menu will consist of ham, turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, green beans, roll, salad and dessert.  

Make reservations to dine-in, for delivery or to pick up by calling the church at (641) 856-8061, between 8 a.m. and noon, Monday through Friday next week.  

Volunteers are also needed and welcomed.  Let the church know how you will be able to assist. Come join in the camaraderie, and enjoy a wonderful meal as well on this Christmas Day!

Since Barack Obama was elected president, two significant things have occurred: The military repealed the "Dont' Ask, Don't Tell" policy allowing gays and lesbians to openly serve and just recently he publicly said he supports gay marriage.
