Dinner and conversation with Jo Kinnard

CENTERVILLE — Are you intrigued by the idea of faith? Are you searching for answers to questions about God as you try to make sense of the circumstances of your life? Have you ever wondered what it means to experience religious conversion?  

You are invited for supper and conversation at the home of Kathryn Frazenburg on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 6 p.m. to hear the story of  Jo Kinnard, as she shares her personal story of what it means to be brought into faith through Christ as an older adult after being born and raised a Hindu.

This week the Iowegian wants readers to think about President Barack Obama. Since Barack Obama was elected president, two significant things have occurred: The military repealed the "Dont' Ask, Don't Tell" policy allowing gays and lesbians to openly serve and just recently he publicly said he supports gay marriage.
