Event to honor service Sunday, Oct. 21

CENTERVILLE — On Sunday, Oct. 21 Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church at 914 N. Park Ave. in Centerville will be hosting an all day event honoring people in service to our community, like firefighters, EMTs, doctors, hospice workers and others.

At 10:30 a.m. each group will be presented with a plaque to thank them for their service. A pot luck dinner will be held at noon. At 2 p.m. Journey Bound men's quartet will perform a special concert.
