The Moulton-Udell Lady Eagles opened the regional tournament with a win over Seymour on Thursday night. Moulton Udell led 18-4 at the end of the first quarter before taking a 37-7 lead into the half.
M-U would go on to outscore Seymour 30-16 in the second half on their way to a 67-23 win.
Moulton’s Madison Probasco had a near miss at a double-double with 18 points and nine assists. Natalie Potter pick up a 16 point, 12 rebound double-double.
Moulton will host Wayne on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the second round of the regionals. Wayne is coming off of a 48-40 win against Moravia on Thursday night.
