Eddyville downs Moravia at Principal Park

DES MOINES —  

The Eddyville-Blakesburg Rockets took a 23-0 win over the Moravia Mohawks as they played at Principal Park on Tuesday, June 26.
The game was a follow up act to the Iowa Cubs season finale against Round Rock.
Eddyville smashed 19 hits while holding the Mohawks to just one hit in the four inning game.
Eddyville put up four runs in the first, two in the second and five in the third before turning in a 12 run fourth inning to take the 23-0 advantage.
Principal Park in Des Moines, on top of being the home of Minor League Baseball’s Iowa Cubs, plays host to the state baseball tournament each year.
