Registration for the 2010 Little League and Babe Ruth season will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27 and Sunday, Feb. 28 at Howar Junior High from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A representative from Little League will also be available at each of the following schools at school dismissal times.
Monday, March 1 at Central and Garfield; Tuesday, March 2 at Mystic and Lincoln; Wednesday, March 3 at Lakeview and Cincinnati and Thursday, March 4 at Lakeview.
Children ages 5-14 who live in Appanoose County are eligible to enroll to play in Little League and Babe Ruth. Registration fee is $60. Registration is required even if the child has previously played. New players must bring an original birth certificate and proof of residency.
Little League tryouts will be held on Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28 at Indian Hills Community College.
Scholarships are available to any child who wishes to play but is unable to afford the registration fee.
